OFFICER PROGRAM TRAINING

As a member of the Civil Air Patrol, you’re just starting on a most rewarding journey. However, you are probably a little confused as you hear long-time members talking about “50-15,” “SAR,” and “specialty tracks.” This orientation program has been designed to assist you in getting started with your training and to eliminate any confusion and frustration. If at any time during this training you have a question please feel free to contact your mentor or command staff member.

 

The information presented for new officers consists of the following:

Basic Training (Level I) - Required courses for new officer members.

Additional Training - Additional Courses recommended for new members.

Professional Development - This will explain the Civil Air Patrol professional development program.

Specialty Tracks - Each member will be asked to choose your future training path.
