Members HelpingWe are always looking for additional volunteers to join our squadron! Please consider this your invitation to stop in at any squadron meeting and discover the many benefits of Civil Air Patrol membership. No matter what your interests, experience, or availability, we will work to make sure that you have a place and feel at home.

Our goal within the squadron is to provide you with a meaningful volunteer experience! We understand that our members are giving of their most precious resource - their time - and we respect and appreciate that!

After completing your membership application you will be assigned to a mentor within the squadron. This person will assist you through your initial training, answer questions, and make sure you find your place and feel at home. Our mentors are experienced with the program, approachable, and more than willing to spend the time necessary to make sure that you get the most of your membership.

As a federally chartered nonprofit organization, Civil Air Patrol is tax exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the IRS Code. This entitles members to claim various expenses as charitable contributions to the extent allowed by law. These include the following:
